Resolution Offered By Association of Tennessee AlphaMen At The Death Of
Brother Dr. Arlyce J. Garth
“With crescendo— A symphonic life, once replete with its largos and allegros, has moved swiftly onward; and friendship that was once ours to share has hastened now into sweet memories.”
Whereas. Arlyce J. Garth was duty initiated into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. in 1956, through Alpha Rho Chapter at Morehouse College; and
Whereas Brother Garth was not only a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., but an iconic representation of its aims of Manly Deeds, Scholarship and Love for All Mankind; and

Be it further resolved that we commend him into Omega, our chapter of sweet rest; that we offer this resolution as testimony to the respect he commanded from brothers well served; and that his resolution be a perpetual reminder to all of his good deeds.
Be it finally resolved that we provide a copy of his resolution to his family and that copy goes into the archives of the Association so that his contributions will go everlastingly into sweet memories.
